Suet is pure refined animal or vegetable fat, and is the most concentrated energy food you can offer wild birds.
Suet gives birds the energy required for the whole year, from spring nesting, breeding, rearing of young
and arms them against the cold winter months.
Depending on your location, you can expect to attract birds of the following species or similar families:
Suet blocks / cakes – Robins, finches, warblers, wrens, sparrows, dunnocks, starlings, siskins, crossbills,
woodpeckers, and all the tits.
